5 Vegetable Crust Pizza Recipes to Satisfy Your Cravings!

So we might be a little bit late to the pizza party, but we’ve definitely arrived in style! The cauliflower pizza hype has been trending for a while now and we definitely see why! When you think of pizza, the word ‘diet’ definitely doesn’t come to mind. But vegetable pizza offers the perfect alternative to have your cake and eat it too! This low carb treat will satisfy your take-away cravings without sabotaging  your waistline.

We decided to take it up a notch, and not only include cauliflower pizza recipes, but multiple pizza crust recipes using different vegetables. I’m talking broccoli, spinach, and courgette…oh my! Then load on some of your favorite toppings for a dinner you and your whole family can enjoy! 10/10 would recommend.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Ingredients
1 medium head of cauliflower
1/4 c mozzarella cheese
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried ground basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 large egg

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Wash a head of cauliflower and chop up florets. Pulse cauliflower in a high powered blender or food processor until finely ground.
2. Cover and microwave cauliflower for 2-3 minutes. Let cool.
3. Place cauliflower in cheese cloth and squeeze out as much water as possible.
4. Mix cauliflower, mozzarella, parmesan, salt, garlic powder, pepper, basil, and oregano. Add egg and stir until combined. Form dough into a ball, and place on a parchment covered pizza pan.
5. Spread dough to edges of pan and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Add sauce and favorite toppings and bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy!

Cauliflower Spinach Pizza Crust

Ingredients
1/2 medium head of cauliflower
2 c raw spinach
1/4 c mozzarella cheese
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 large egg

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Wash a head of cauliflower and chop up florets. Pulse cauliflower and spinach in a high powered blender or food processor until finely ground.
2. Cover and microwave cauliflower and spinach mixture for 2-3 minutes. Let cool.
3. Place mixture in cheesecloth and squeeze out as much water as possible.
4. In a mixing bowl, add cauliflower and spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, salt, garlic powder, pepper, basil, and oregano. Add egg and stir until combined. Form dough into a ball, and place on a parchment covered pizza pan.
5. Spread dough to edges of pan and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Add sauce and favorite toppings and bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy

 

Broccoli Pizza Crust

 

Ingredients
1 medium head of broccoli

Ingredients
3 medium zucchinis
1/4 c mozzarella cheese
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 large egg

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Wash zucchinis and chop into small pieces. Pulse zucchini in a high powered blender or food processor.
2. Cover and microwave zucchini for 2-3 minutes. Let cool.
3. Place zucchini in cheese cloth and squeeze out as much water as possible.
4. Mix zucchini, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic salt, basil, and oregano. Add egg and stir until combined. Form dough into a ball, and place on a parchment covered pizza pan.
5. Spread dough to edges of pan and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Add sauce and favorite toppings and bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy

KALE PIZZA CRUST

Ingredients
4 c chopped kale leaves
1/4 c mozzarella cheese
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 large egg

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a high powered blender or food processor, pulse kale leaves until finely ground.
2. Mix ground kale, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic salt, basil, and oregano. Add egg and stir until combined. Form dough into a ball, and place on a parchment covered pizza pan.
3. Spread dough to edges of pan and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Add sauce and favorite toppings and bake for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy!
